Linden airport has falling into disrepair and none compliance with it’s
FAA federal Obligation

Linden airport is a surplus Navy airport gifted to the city after World War II, on the condition that the city would maintain the airport in good condition.

In March of 1994 a memorandum of agreement was signed to release seventy acres of airport property so, that Aviation plaza could be built.

In September 1996, ninety five acres of 188 were release. In return for these ninety five acres the city again made commitments to maintain Linden Airport  in good serviceable condition.

By 2000 linden Airport was re-built and re-configure to its present size and single runway.

Please view these  linked documents.
Memorandum agreement, deed release, & 5190. 6B
Chapter 3 Federal obligation from property conveyance.

These  documents are in breach due to the airport manager, a city contractor who chooses not to comply with federal laws and what is normal and customary for a federal obligated, and surplus military deed redistricted airport like Linden airport.

The City extended the airport manager contract for another 25 years this in-spite of the FAA investigation and request for corrective action. This was a no bid contract. A fair-market value evaluation for this contract was not performed. This is and has been a no show job.                                     This contractor has no skin in the game, the city used 18 million in bond money  and millions federal grant money to reconfigure Linden airport.
